Eleven construction workers, sitting on a steel beam nearly 850 feet above New York City, eating lunch during the Great Depression.
Most people see the risk. We couldn’t stop thinking about the meal.
Long hours. Short breaks. Food eaten wherever work allowed — not where comfort existed. What struck us was how familiar that still feels today. Nearly a century later, hard-working people still sacrifice hot, proper meals for convenience.
That realization sparked a simple question:
Why should getting a hot meal at work still be this hard?
The First Attempt
We tried to build the solution — and failed
In 2023, we partnered with a factory to turn the idea into a real product.
It didn’t work.
Supply chain mistakes, compromises we weren’t willing to accept — and a product we couldn’t stand behind.
So we stopped.
Starting Over
We rebuilt everything from the inside out
Instead of outsourcing the thinking, we took control of the engineering.
We redesigned the heating system, the timing logic, and the everyday experience — one decision at a time.
This time, it worked.

On May 6, 2025, we launched LunchGO on Kickstarter.
425 backers didn’t just fund a product — they validated a better way to eat at work.
That trust meant everything to us.
